Day 2

Today was a bluebird ski day with bright blue skies and sun cream was applied in large quantities.

The advanced group enjoyed time mastering jumps along with Dante who joined them on his snowboard and Mrs Hewitt.

I spent the day with one of our intermediate groups and we managed to climb up to the oberservation deck which is at the highest point on the mountain, to get a 360 degree view of the surrounding areas. The groups skied well with some of them tackling their first black runs today. In the afternoon we did some ski hiking and went down some more difficult runs. All in all it was an excellent day out on the slopes.

Mr Smith joined the snowboarding group and was impressed with far they have come since yesterday. A particular mention to Romeo and Colin who have made the most pleasing progress in this group.

Mrs Vales spent her time with the beginners group and we are pleased to say that all our students can now ski or board! Hannah was particualry proud of her achievements today as she persevered and overcame her fears.

In the evening pupils went to Funspot, which is the worlds biggest acrade. Students played a few games of bowling and then spent some time playing on the various games machines. Harrison hit the jackpot and won over 3000 tickets!

We will be spending our last day at Cannon in the morning before we move onto the next resort.
