Day 3

The day started with another birthday as we wished Jake a Happy Birthday. Waterville valley was a new destination today, again we were blessed with the weather. It was a skier’s delight. I am happy to report that on this year’s trip we have one of the biggest advanced groups that I have ever seen as one of our intermediate groups has merged with the advanced group. The group tackled a number of slopes including a run which had a 62 degree incline! I was impressed as all the group made it down with out falling.

The snowboarders had an enjoyable day and now all the snowboarders can all ride down the nursery slopes. Dante our advanced boarder offered his services in the afternoon by offering to help coach them.

In the Intermediate groups Lucy was the star group, her attitude towards her skiing was excellent and as a result can now parallel ski. The group was learnt some tricks, with Jonny being able to do a 360 on skis.

The snow started to come down hard by the end of the session. The forecast does not look good for tomorrow but one can only hope the snow stops.

In the evening we headed for the local shopping mall where the most popular shop was the candy store who have probably been made millionaires in the space of a few hours.
